Ernst-Blickle Award

Every two years the winners of the Ernst-Blickle Award are selected by the board of trustees.
A specially appointed committee assists the board of trustees in their choice of Award winners.

Award winners are selected from the areas of commerce and technology.

As far as technology is concerned, the Foundation considers both basic and applied research, in particular in the areas of drive engineering and the control of production processes, including control via the use of electronics.

In the economic sphere, particular attention is paid to the disciplines of management theory, corporate legal structures and policies as well as corporate and management organizations.

The Foundation also financially supports individual research studies as the case arises. It is not possible to apply for financial support.

The Ernst Blickle Award worth 100,000 euros is awarded every two years, making it one of the highest-paying awards for individuals in Europe.
