Founded: The Foundation was established by Mrs. Edeltraut Blickle on the 30th of November 1989 in memory of her late husband, Ernst Wilhelm Blickle, who passed away on the 15th of July 1986.  The Foundation was set up to honor Mr Blickle's entrepreneurial spirit and accomplishments for the companies of the SEW-EURODRIVE Group.
Approval: Issued on the 6th of December 1989 by the Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe and therefore the Foundation is an independent legal existence.
Charter: 30th of November 1989
